There is something rather rotten from the State of Denmark. Its government unveiled official research showing that two-year-old children are at risk from a bewildering array of gender-bending chemicals in such everyday items as waterproof clothes, rubber boots, bed linen, food, nappies, sunscreen lotion and moisturizing cream. Phthlate seems to be the main chemical that researchers are focusing on but also cause for concern is dioxins, PVC, flame retardants, and the now largely banned PCBs, one and a half million tons of which were used in countless products from paints to electrical equipment. The 326-page report, published by the environment protection agency, is the latest piece in an increasingly alarming jigsaw. A picture is emerging of ubiquitous chemical contamination driving down sperm counts and feminising male children all over the developed world. And anti-pollution measures and regulations are falling far short of getting to grips with it.
Sperm counts are falling so fast that young men are less fertile than their fathers and produce only a third as much, proportionately, as hamsters. And gender-bending chemicals are increasingly being blamed for the mystery of the "lost boys": babies who should normally be male who have been born as girls instead.
The Danish government set out to find out how much contamination from gender-bending chemicals a two-year-old child was exposed to every day. It concluded that a child could be "at critical risk" from just a few exposures to high levels of the substances, such as from rubber clogs, and imperilled by the amount it absorbed from sources ranging from food to sunscreens. ...

Isaac Newton on the Cosmic Ether
Isaac Newton's Letter to Robert Boyle,
on the Cosmic Ether of Space
I have just reproduced and posted to the OBRL website, a letter written on the question of the cosmic ether of space, by Isaac Newton to Robert Boyle, a fellow scientist about 15 years older than Newton, who would rise to a nearly equal fame. This letter firstly came to my attention where it was reprinted in a relatively-unknown journal edited by the heretic-scientist Wilhelm Reich, his International Journal of Sex-Economy and Orgone Research (vol.3, 1944, p.191-194). The original reference from Reich's journal is found in the 1938 volume Isaac Newton: 1642-1727, by J.W.N. Sullivan (Macmillan, NY p.118-124). However, a longer and more complete version of the letter was thereafter found in an 1846 publication (cited at the bottom of the webpage) which contains pertinent information not previously available.
The letter is significant firstly because it is not well-known outside of a few historians. Where it is quoted, significant parts as I have now restored, are often left out.
The letter is significant secondly because of its contents. Newton's early embrace of a tangible and motile ether was heresy not just to the Vatican in his time, but also for the modern departments of physics in nearly every university, where quasi-religious concepts of empty-space, devoid of any tangible qualities are embraced; and nothing can be permitted to challenge them.
The letter clearly shows the young Newton, who wrote this in 1679 when he was 37 years old, had a firm belief and working grasp of the ether of space as a thing of substance and "ponderability", something which participated in the movement and ordering of the planets and universe, as a working force in optics, chemistry and gravitation. In this, Newton was continuing the conceptual ideas of Galileo, which had been such an irritant to the Vatican Bishops, who would tolerate no possibility of a motional force in nature other than God. The idea that ether and god might be identical descriptions for the "prime-mover" was equally intolerable, as while one could scientifically know and measure the ether, one could not by definition measure or know "the divine".
The young Newton was not bothered by such conceptual difficulties as which bothered the Bishops of Rome, however, but the older Newton increasingly became preoccupied with theological matters, to the point that nearly all his biographers would agree he had become as much of a theologian as scientist in his last decades. Even only 20 years after penning this Letter to Boyle, he writes in the last query of his Optics, the following:
"Now by the help of these principles, all material things seem to have been composed of the hard and solid particles, above-mentioned, variously associated in the first creation by the counsel of an intelligent agent. For it became him who created them to set them in order. And if he did so, it's unphilosophical to seek for any other origin of the world, or to pretend that it might arise out of a chaos by the mere laws of nature; though being once formed, it may continue by those laws for many ages..." (quoted in Sullivan, p.125-126)
During those later periods, Newton would drop ideas such as a ponderable and moving cosmic ether in favor of more abstract concepts, such as the divine "prime mover" or deified "absolute space", which was foundational for most later astrophysical investigations into the nature of the cosmos. The most obvious result of this shift was, that in the original Michelson-Morley experiment for testing of ether-drift, everyone anticipated a very large ether-drift effect, based upon the assumption the Earth was racing through a static and immobile cosmic ether at very high speeds. No such static ether has ever been demonstrated. But a material entrained ether, moving more slowly and close to the speed of the earth itself, something quite similar to that proposed by the young Isaac Newton, was detected repeatedly, as I have already summarized in two papers on the subject:

Thirdly, this letter is significant for its insights into how the ether may work to bind matter together, to create optical, chemical and gravitational effects, in ways that he would later abandon, and the world would basically forget until the first half of the 20th Century, when scientists such as Dayton Miller, Wilhelm Reich, Giorgio Piccardi and others would detect exactly that kind and form of a cosmic force, expressing itself in their experimental results.
Newer studies undertaken today, attempting to better understand the nature of the substance and structure of space, can benefit from this older work. There is a prejudice we must overcome in the sciences, to not drink from these old refreshing wells, in spite of their clear and deep waters, as if the plastic-bottled fizz-water of modern vending-machine scientism will make us wiser or healthier. It is not so.
The young Newton was on the right track and had it right, and would have made the same basic mathematical and experimental proofs in optics and gravitation had he sayed with those original thoughts about the ether. Nothing would be different, except for a greater appreciation for the substance of space. The older Newton lost that track, descending into theological labyrinths, even while a few heretic scientists of later centuries found the "red-thread", and continued on.

Sudden Jihad or Inordinate Stress at Ft. Hood? - by Daniel Pipes
When a Muslim in the West for no apparent reason violently attacks non-Muslims, a predictable argument ensues about motives.
The establishment - law enforcement, politicians, the media, and the academy - stands on one side of this debate, insisting that some kind of oppression caused Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, to kill 13 and wound 38 at Ft. Hood on Nov. 5. It disagrees on the specifics, however, presenting Hasan as the victim alternatively of "racism," "harassment he had received as a Muslim," " a sense of not belonging," "pre-traumatic stress disorder," "mental problems," "emotional problems," "an inordinate amount of stress," or being deployed to Afghanistan as his "worst nightmare." Accordingly, a typical newspaper headline reads "Mindset of Rogue Major a Mystery.".
Instances of Muslim-on-unbeliever violence inspire the victim school to dig up new and imaginative excuses. Colorful examples (drawing on my article and weblog entry about denying Islamist terrorism) include:
* 1990: "A prescription drug for depression" (to explain the assassination of Rabbi Meir Kahane)
* 1991: "A robbery gone wrong" (the murder of Makin Morcos in Sydney)
* 1994: "Road rage" (the killing of a random Jew on the Brooklyn Bridge)
* 1997: "Many, many enemies in his mind" (the shooting murder atop the Empire State Building)
* 2000: A traffic incident (the attack on a bus of Jewish schoolchildren near Paris)
* 2002: "A work dispute" (the double murder at LAX)
* 2002: A "stormy [family] relationship" (the Beltway snipers)
* 2003: An "attitude problem" (Hasan Karim Akbar's attack on fellow soldiers, killing two)
* 2003: Mental illness (the mutilation murder of Sebastian Sellam)
* 2004: "Loneliness and depression" (an explosion in Brescia, Italy outside a McDonald's restaurant)
* 2005: "A disagreement between the suspect and another staff member" (a rampage at a retirement center in Virginia)
* 2006: "An animus toward women" (a murderous rampage at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle in 2006)
* 2006: "His recent, arranged marriage may have made him stressed" (killing with an SUV in northern California in 2006)
Additionally, when an Osama bin Laden-admiring Arab-American crashed his plane into a Tampa high-rise, blame fell on the acne drug Accutane.
As a charter member of the jihad school of interpretation, I reject these explanations as weak, obfuscatory, and apologetic. The jihadi school, still in the minority, perceives Hasan's attack as one of many Muslim efforts to vanquish infidels and impose Islamic law. We recall a prior episode of sudden jihad syndrome in the U.S. military, as well as the numerous cases of non-lethal Pentagon jihadis and the history of Muslim violence on American soil.
We are not mystified by Hasan but see overwhelming evidence of his jihadi intentions. He handed out Korans to neighbors just before going on his rampage and yelled "Allahu Akbar," the jihadi's cry, as he fired off over 100 rounds from two pistols. His superiors reportedly put him on probation for inappropriately proselytizing about Islam.
We are not mystified by Hasan but see overwhelming evidence of his jihadi intentions. We note what former associates say about him: one, Val Finnell, quotes Hasan saying, "I'm a Muslim first and an American second" and recalls Hasan justifying suicide terrorism; another, Col Terry Lee, recalls that Hasan "claimed Muslims had the right to rise up and attack Americans"; the third, a psychiatrist who worked very closely with Hasan, described him as "almost belligerent about being Muslim."
Finally, the jihad school of thought attributes importance to the Islamic authorities' urging American Muslim soldiers to refuse to fight their co-religionists, thereby providing a basis for sudden jihad. In 2001, for example, responding to the U.S. attack on the Taliban, the mufti of Egypt, Ali Gum'a, issued a fatwa stating that "The Muslim soldier in the American army must refrain [from participating] in this war." Hasan himself, echoing that message, advised a young Muslim disciple, Duane Reasoner Jr., not to join the U.S. army because "Muslims shouldn't kill Muslims."
If the jihad explanation is overwhelmingly more persuasive than the victim one, it's also far more awkward to articulate. Everyone finds blaming road rage, Accutane, or an arranged marriage easier than discussing Islamic doctrines. And so, a prediction: what Ralph Peters calls the army's "unforgivable political correctness" will officially ascribe Hasan's assault to his victimization and will leave jihad unmentioned.
And thus will the army blind itself and not prepare for its next jihadi attack.

The only thing I could add to this article is the fact that Islamic culture has not gone through any period of scientific revolution, renaissance, enlightenment, reformation, nor any movement for abolition of Kings, nor ridding itself of slavery, nor any movement for civil rights, women's rights, or human rights, nor any kind of sexual revolution. The Islamic world of Saharasia remains trapped in theocratic totalitarian dictatorship. To hope for a reform-movement to start within Islam is to be delusional. What we need is a reform-movement within the Western liberal democracies, to view the problem without our own delusions, or "cognitive dissonance" as this author aptly puts it. Too many of our political leaders and media elites have made emotional alliances with the Islamic aggressors and terrorists, if not also suffering from some kind of sick admiration for Islamic sexual slavery and oppression of children and women. Resolving the Cognitive Dissonance of Islam

The negative spiritual and intellectual consequence of believing two mutually exclusive concepts is "cognitive dissonance." Our interaction as a society with Islam is a direct cause of cognitive dissonance, for us as individuals and as a culture.
Resolution of the contradiction requires the rejection of one of the concepts. If we continue to ignore our cognitive dissonance about Islam, the consequences will be dire: we will lose our civilization.
Islam is much more than a religion; it is a complete civilization that includes politics (caliphate), jurisprudence (Sharia law), war (jihad), and a deliberately misleading "religion of peace." The doctrine of Islam is found in three books: Koran (the literal word of Allah as "revealed" to Mohammed), Sira (Mohammad's biography), and Hadith (stories about and sayings of Mohammed as reported by contemporaries). The definitive text of Sharia law is "Reliance of the Traveller." Allah and Mohammed are to be obeyed, not questioned. "Islam" means "submission"; a Muslim is "one who submits." "Islam" does not mean "peace."
Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers. (Koran,3:32)O you who believe! Obey Allah and His Apostle and do not turn back from Him while you hear. (Koran, 8:20)O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil). (Koran, 9:123)
The purpose of the Islamic doctrine is the destruction of all cultures not Islamic and the expansion of Islam and Shariah law throughout the world.
O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be hard against them; and their abode is hell; and evil is the resort. (Koran, 66:9)Saed had been right about taking prisoners after the battle: take no prisoners until Islam has made all submit. They were to forget the ransom and the money, Mohammed said, because submission of the non-believers was all that mattered. It is difficult for many to accept that such an ideology can be real and that people kill and die for it; we see the truth of Islam in word and deed but pretend that it is not so. According to Sharia law (Islamic law) Islam abrogates, that is "cancels," all other religions.
Previously revealed religions were valid in their own eras, as is attested to by many verses of the Holy Koran, but were abrogated by the universal message of Islam as is equally attested to by many verses of the Koran.... It is unbelief (kufr) to hold that the remnant cults now bearing the names of formerly valid religions, such as "Christianity" or "Judaism," are acceptable to Allah Most High after He has sent the final Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) to the entire world. Our national cognitive dissonance began immediately after 9/11, when President George Bush visited the Islamic Center of Washington on September 17, 2001, and said, "Islam is peace." President Obama has reiterated this misperception of Islam specifically in his recent speech of apology in Cairo to the "Muslim World."
The contradiction of Islam upon which our cognitive dissonance is based is this: Islam is benevolent and peaceful, and Islam is violent and hostile. Both positions cannot be true.
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. (Koran:9:29)You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given you a clear authority. The majority of the doctrine of Islam is about how Muslims are to interact with non-Muslims; it is essentially about the rest of us. Statistical analysis of the doctrine of Islam by Dr. Bill Warner of the Center for the Study of Political Islam is enlightening:
* 62% of Koran is devoted to how Islam interacts with the kafir (the unbeliever).
* 98% of the Sira is devoted to the struggle against kafirs. (70% is jihad; 28% is argument and insults.)
* 20% of Bukhari Hadith is devoted to jihad.
The evidence to resolve our societal cognitive dissonance about Islam is readily available and painfully obvious.
Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. (Koran, 98:6)
Islamist mass murderers and terrorists/jihadists are not "hijackers" or "misunderstanders" of Islam; they are the devout followers of a political ideology that is hostile to our existence because we are not Muslims.
We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust. (Koran, 3:151)Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due (jizya tax), then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (Koran, 9:5)
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) which is under a cloud of suspicion (see "Muslim Mafia" by P. David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry) has been the leading espouser of Islamic "understanding" in America. CAIR's mission statement that it is "to be a leading advocate for justice and mutual understanding" is not, according to their founder, their true purpose.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Khosrau will be ruined, and there will be no Khosrau after him, and Caesar will surely be ruined and there will be no Caesar after him, and you will spend their treasures in Allah's Cause." CAIR's founder, Omar Ahmad, said in 1998 that "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran ... should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth." (San Ramon, CA., Valley Herald, 7/04/1998.)
So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them herewith with a great endeavour. (Koran, 25:52)
If our culture and society are to survive, we must accept the truth of the world and of Islam whether or not we prefer it.
Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not. (Koran, 2:216)
Our cognitive dissonance will be resolved only with honesty and knowledge. Islam is not a "religion of peace." If we are unsuccessful in resolving the cognitive dissonance which results from our confused view of Islam, we will lose our civilization.

Ft. Hood Islamic Jihad Massacre... and Media white-wash
I am posting the links below because of the appalling deceit and lies-of-omission being committed by the mainstream news media, nation-wide, and because of the total lack of leadership by elected officials, on what is yet another major Islamic terror attack within the USA.
Apparently it is not sufficient that a Muslim fanatic invaded the Seattle Jewish Center a few years ago and shot dead scores of unarmed women, or that another Muslim fanatic shot multiple people dead at the El Al ticket counter at LA airport, or that another Muslim fanatic opened up with a machine gun at a shopping mall in Minnesota, or that another used his big SUV to run down a crowd of university students in California.... all while grinning ear-to-ear and screaming "Allahu Akbar!!" All of these "incidents" were described by the media and government people as "lone gunmen" who "snapped under pressure", but in fact they are only a small sample of the much larger number of similar incidents, committed by individuals with clear ties to radical mosques, if not to specific known Islamic terror factions. The role of Islamic fanaticism and the call to jihad murder of infidels, as in the Koran, are consistently ignored.
No, none of those incidents were sufficient to awaken people, nor the thankfully-failed efforts to use massive car bombs to take out the Seattle Space Needle, or the Chicago Sears Tower, or other large buildings -- all after 911 -- as well as the shoe-bomber, and liquid-bottle bombers, and so on, who have tried to take down more and more of our civil aviation jet aircraft. None of that is sufficient, to wake people up. We continue to vote into power, only those who apologize for Islamic terror, who like the sleeping majority, turn a blind eye to it, or actually approve of it as determined by their words and actions.
Not any of those terrible incidents, nor the many "honor" murders of young Islamic women of immigrant families in the USA, killed by their fathers and husbands in murders which become institutionalized and "mosque-approved" (if not also mosque-inspired), and even "apologized for" by the infidel media, politicians and courts in ways that no ordinary "crime of passion" murder for reasons of jealousy or robbery could ever obtain in the manner of an excuse -- none of them are sufficient. Nor are any of the even more astonishing terror acts overseas, as with the Mumbai massacre most recently, where captured infidel Jewish civilians were specifically targeted and then horrifically mutilated and tortured in manners too ghoulish to describe, before the terrorists finally killed them, and were finally killed themselves.
I suppose if/when the Muslim fanatics atom-bomb LA, New York or Washington DC, the same Islamic apologists will still be hand-wringing over how the poor offended Muslims have been so badly mistreated. So we should just lick our wounds and prepare for the next hammer-blow.
Wake up Americans, you are being led into slavery by malicious characters in media, academia and government, who want the nation destroyed and the world's totalitarians empowered and unfettered.
